Hi Cooperators,
Please forgive the last-minute nature of this announcement, but for those of you who don't know about Rob Story and All-One Family Farm, they are one great way to get wonderful organic fruit at phenomenal prices AND help the co-op at the same time. For every fruit order where you mention the co-op, Rob gives 15% of all gross sales right back to us! This has been an extremely popular fundraiser among our supporters, so read below if you'd like to take advantage, or you can go directly to the ordering page here: http://www.allonefamilyfarm.com/Ordering.html. This is Rob's final delivery of the season, so don't miss out! Next chance won't be until June or July.
(Rob also has listed a great source for cedar planking and beams below... read on for more details.)

Greetings folks-
The time has come to announce the final regular fruit delivery of the 2009/2010 fruit season. It has been a great year and we feel very blessed to work with you all. What a great group of people we get to work with!
After this next delivery we will be getting to work on planting for the season and keeping our fingers crossed for another great fruit year.
We are planning this last delivery on Saturday March 6th. Please let us know what you would like by Friday February 26th so we can get it organized.
Orders forms are up on the website on the Ordering page.
Please share this opportunity with others if you would as we would like to continue to grow.
Many thanks as always and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Rob
For any of you interested in a source for good lumber at a very fair price please read on.
As some of you know I am in the process of building our new little home out on the Olympic Peninsula. In my work to find good local deals I was introduced to a father and son team who are located on Hwy 104 just west of the Hood Canal Bridge.
Denis and Robert have a full saw mill, kiln, planer and shaper set up. They mill lumber for homeowners and they also mill custom wood for a number of lumber yards.
They do not provide standard Doug fir 2x4, 2x6 or other 2x wood. Here is what they offer
Cedar planking and beams
4x, 6x, 8x and other large timbers cut from Doug Fir, Hemlock or Cedar.
Tongue and Groove planks
Custom shaped wood
We have purchased very nice cedar from them for ½ of the cost of the lowest priced lumber yard around here. It was custom cut, kiln dried and sanded.
Denis and Robert are also making 1x6 and 1x8 T/G for us that is kiln dried, shaped, planed and sanded to 220. Their price is 40% less than anywhere else.
So if anyone is in the market for wood of this type in any quantity and wants to support a local business give Denis a call and tell him I highly recommended him and Robert. He does not check messages so if you get voicemail just call back about 15 minutes later. His number is (360) 531-2985 and works M-Saturday.
Kind regards,
Rob
