Well, it’s been nearly six months since we first met with our community of potential member/owners to announce our willingness to start a new food co-op grocery store in Kitsap County. (You can click here to view photos from our first Public Meeting from back in February of this year.)
We figured, it was time to meet with you all again, and we will continue to do so every six months or so, to give you the opportunity to ask us questions and to meet other potential member/owners of the co-op.
Our next meeting will be a little less formal than our first, and will resemble more of a social gathering than a meeting. We’ve chosen The Cloverleaf Tavern in East Bremerton as our site, and Sept. 8th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm as the date and time. We’ll be opening up our normal Steering Committee meeting to the public, which will include a short presentation and question & answer segment around 7:00 pm. The rest of the time will be spent as you like – socializing with others over a drink or some food, chatting with us or others. Anyone interested in becoming a future member/owner is invited, kids are welcomed, and we’ll have our own private room in the back.
We also plan to have some fun raffles and fundraisers – you won’t want to miss it!
